DOVER REGATTA 2024
Dover Regatta 2024 - Welcoming thousands of families each year, the Dover Regatta brings communities together from across the country every summer, shining a light on Kent and Dover as the perfect seaside destination.
With the brand-new Marina sitting alongside world famous cruise ships and fantastic recreational areas including the Marina Curve and Clocktower Square, all set amongst the iconic backdrop of the White Cliffs and Castle, Dover waterfront is the place to be.
Diederik Smet, Placemaking, Events and Partnership Manager at the Port of Dover said:
“2023 was an exciting year, with Dover’s newly revitalised waterfront becoming a shining example of the best of our coast. With incredible leisure spaces, plus vibrant events and entertainment recently introduced, all within an hour of London, Dover is becoming a first class destination for exploring the Garden of England.”
A whole host of fun waterside activities and games, live music and local food and drink will be on offer, with over 100 stalls and more…Details for Dover Regatta 2024 will be announced later next year.

Dover Town Council and Co-Host Future Foundry will bring Dover Winter Light Up in 2024!
On Saturday, 7th December 2024, Dover Market Square will play host to a range of stalls offering festive gifts, entertainment, as well as food and drinks for you to enjoy. Co-host Future Foundry will lead the lantern procession and workshops leading up to the event. The lantern procession and big builds will illuminate Dover in collaboration with local artists and lantern makers, and you can take part in these activities. There are many exciting outdoor activities that individuals and groups can engage in, such as hiking along coastal trails, bird watching, kayaking, and fishing.
Community festivals and events featuring music, food, and educational exhibits also provide opportunities for people to come together and learn about the importance of coastal conservation.
